Meet the Team
Texas Forklift Service is family-run and in its third generation, serving Texas since 1978. Our crew includes former Toyota and Komatsu dealer techs, and we work on Toyota, Nissan, Hoist, Hyster/Yale, Linde and more, plus older machines other shops won't touch. We're one of the few shops outside the dealer that works on Linde.
James Harrison
James is the third generation to run Texas Forklift Service. He's a former Toyota dealer tech who knows older machines as well as today's equipment. His work goes well beyond forklifts, to rail car movers, yard mules, and forestry and construction equipment.
Curt Crowder
Curt is a former Komatsu dealer tech who handles everything from on-site service calls to major repairs. He takes on the tough, time-consuming jobs, from transmission overhauls to full rebuilds of a unit, in the field or in the shop.
Dylan Varnado
Dylan is one of the most skilled mechanics on our team. He worked alongside James at the local Toyota dealer before joining us in 2023, and he knows Toyota forklifts inside and out, from the hydraulics and mast to the electrical systems and engine. When a machine has a problem nobody else can pin down, Dylan is the one we send. He brings dealer-quality repair work right to your site, without the dealer price tag.
Alberto Cruz
Alberto is an experienced heavy equipment and diesel mechanic. Before joining us, he worked at the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians motor pool, fixing just about everything with an engine.
